    I enjoy the podcasts, Francis. Let me pose a question, please. If we would cut spending by ~$1.5 trillion and balance the federal budget, wouldn't that reduce GDP by about $1.5 trillion or 1.5/14 = ~9%? That seems to me to be the right thing to do, but it's not politically possible. I expect the burgeoning debt to become a disaster that will blow up before long. I see debt deflation followed by hyperinflation as a danger that makes all other issues seem trivial. Please tell me I'm wrong!
