    The rebuilding of Japan’s infrastructure will not improve Japan’s economy. Have you forgotten The “broken window” story as illustrated by Henry Hazlitt’s Economics in One Lesson?

    The baker’s broken window has to be fixed. The baker had $50 dollars he had to pay to fix the window. So instead of having a window and $50 (which he could have spent on consumables or invested), he now only has a window.
